Mojo Monday challenge#83

I have been busy again with my take on the Monday Mojo challenge which you can find here http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/

I decided to do my take for this particular challenge in a Christmas theme this time and as I don't yet have a scallop border punch(waiting for mine to come from my local Stampin Up lady) I decided to use the Fiskars lace border punch which finally I am able to use much better these days. Again I was using up scraps of designer papers for this challenge and they come from Kaisercraft. Just love their double sided paper too.

Hope that you like what I have done here too.

The Pink elephant challenge#11

Hi all here I am again with my take for this week's http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/ which is themed either a Mother's Day card or a birthday card for Mother.

I used scraps of designer paper by Kaisercrafts, some paper flowers and my new Labels #3 set of nestabilites that I just got in the mail yesterday and just of course had to try them.

Hope you all like what I have done for this too.

2 weekly challenge 1 swap theme 1 card for all 3 if that makes sense

Ok I am entering this particular card for two challenges this week. The first challenge is over at http://thepinkelelphantchallenge.blogspot.com/ for their colour challenge this week which was pink, green and yellow. I don't mind using pink and green together but adding the yellow was a challenge for me so I guess I took the easy way out here and used my trusty favourite gems the Kaisercraft rhinestones in a yellow colour. The next challenge that I am taking part in is over athttp://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/for their challenge#26 Shape it cards and they had to be anything but square cards so this is the one that I chose the TPE and The Cuttlebugspot challenges. I use this lovely pink core'dination cardstock which I really love to use at present, I then embossed with my good ole Swiss Dots embossing folder, I used gold fancy line peeloffs for the edging, a green leaft from the cuttlebug collection and the yellow daisy brought from the local $2 shop here. The sentiment is Spring by Hero Arts. I am also going to use this card for a swap on one of my Yahoo groups for their Spring themed card this week.

My Easter weekend

Well its now Easter Monday here in New Zealand and I guess you could say that I have had quite a busy weekend all up. We started the term clean at the craft and technology centre on Thursday afternoon and it was good all 3 of us being there as we got the cooking room half done in one go. I came back with Murray on the Saturday morning to polish what I had done on the Thursday and Murray vacumed out the woodwork room for me at the same time and this morning being Monday I went back in and laid polish on the rest of the cooking room and washed the storeroom and office in the woodwork area so hopefully all going well by the end of tomorrow it will be all done and I can then have the next week and a half to myself.

I completed my first term of Tai Chi for Diabetes and have really enjoyed doing this plus already finding out the benefits of doing it too. I have already signed up again for next term but am hoping that I can sign up for the day time class as well as that then will give me two hours of exercise a week then.

The eye has recovered well from the surgery that I had a fortnight ago now waiting to go to the follow up appointment on 4th may. Gee that won't take long to come either with the way the weeks are just flying by.

I start my regular fortnightly weekend respite work in the next couple of weeks so that means some extra money for me and I guess I can use some of it to buy some stamping stuff can't I.

The weather has been typically autumn here this weekend. Lovely sunny days and cool cool nights already the temperature has been down at 1 degree a few mornings this past week and those leaves just keep on coming off the trees as well.

Yesterday being Sunday was a day of card making for me in the craft room and listening to Andre Rieu DVDs and CDs.

I made 2 Circle journal pages of quotes for a Circle journal swap that I am doing, a bookmark using the cuttlebug for another swap for April plus a floral card for a swap, 2 atcs and a couple of birthday cards.

Do please take a look at what I have done.

The Cuttlebugspot challenge #24

Hi all back on line again after my cataract surgery and yep can see with no blurriness anymore.

I have been able to also take part in this week's Challenge #24 over at

http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/ which this week is called Emboss it twic.

I used my Swiss Dots folder and this flower folder which I forget its proper name.

I ran them separately through the Cuttlebug and then coloured them in using my light pink and green Versmark ink pads and stamped in the right hand corner my Hero Arts Happy Easter stamp. Hope you like what I have done here . I am more than happy.
